Steel StE255 is used for special requirements according to DIN 17178 : 1986-5 for welded steel tubes and according to DIN 17179 : 1986-5 for seamless steel tubes. These steel tubes are used above all in pressure vessel construction, apparatus construction, pipe construction, as well as in general machine and equipment construction.
